EMBODYING A MINDFUL BUSINESS PHILOSOPHY

“If you’re willing to sacrifice your ego, if you’re willing to give your best, even though it might feel like you are doing work that’s below you, I promise you will gain more. You don’t need to profess your power, you need to show your power and lead by example.”

Adam’s successful tenure of business experience was founded in his formative years growing up in Detroit. Never the biggest on the football team and enduring adversity in an environment toxic with the messages of “you’ll never make it,” Adam learned self-discipline at an early age.

It was “the little engine that could” mentality that drove Adam to prove everyone wrong by achieving what seemed like the impossible. Whether it was going on to play college football or successfully landing business opportunities around the world, his focus and relentless work ethic motivates Adam to thrive in the midst of challenges.

“I have always felt I’ve had something to prove and to over-achieve. When I was 14, I got my first job at a Burger King. I had to learn young about the fundamentals of working toward goals. That turned into a long life of creating my own success. I have had to build my own destiny.”

Adam’s resilience and childhood self-reliance are balanced by a deep sense of empathy and compassion. Growing up in the city honed a sensitivity for helping those not able to fend for themselves. These values continue to hold up Adam’s mindful business philosophy today.

“I’m not afraid to say and be who I am. It’s been the challenges in life that allowed me to open up and grow, but it has also been based on good people. Always. That’s why I continue to work to inspire ongoing growth in others.”
